Am I likely to be at risk of catching hepatitis A or B?
It is important for you to think about whether you may be at risk of hepatitis in the future, even if you don't think you are at risk at the moment.
You may be at risk if you are likely to do one or more of the following:

- Become a healthcare worker, police or emergency services officer, sex worker, plumber, sewage worker or member of the armed forces.
- Play a lot of contact sport
- Have unsafe sex, or sex involving anal contact
- Take intravenous drugs
